Happy Birthday Izzy!
November 1st, 2007 was an exciting day at the King house. That is the day that Sophie delivered her five puppies. It was a new experience for us all. By Christmas Day four of the five had been delivered to their new homes with just Izzy staying behind. While raising puppies isn't for everyone, as a family we really enjoyed watching them go from little Twinkie sized rats to the fluffy active puppies we all got so attached to. I know I couldn't have kept them all, nor did I want to, but it was definitely difficult to see them go. Thankfully, none of them are too far away and we've been able to see them occasionally.
I live in Lewiston, Utah. My husband Ted and I have five sons, Tyler, Zac, Richie, Robbie & Daren. Tyler is married to the former Amanda Allen and they have two beautiful little girls, Emorie and Eva and a handsome little man, Newel. Zac is married to Jenna Qualls from West Point, Utah. Robbie is married to Marianne Miles from Afton, WY. The boys and their wives are going to college and working hard at school and various jobs. Richie is studying accounting at USU and Daren is a meat cutter at Theurers Custom Meats in Lewiston. As a family we enjoy getting together for dinner and also love watching Aggie football and basketball games. We also have two dogs. They are a mother daughter pair of Shih Tzu's, Sophie and her daughter Izzy. I grew up in Preston, Idaho, the 9th child of twelve children born to Dean & June Abrams. I have 9 brothers and 2 sisters. I'm also happy to claim Leland Cottle as a great dad! We really appreciate the role that he has filled in our family. I love to travel and try to head somewhere warm each winter. Preferably a beach!
